For the past year, I've watched our travel blog's traffic plummet from over 1 million monthly readers to just 30,000. But this isn't about numbers. This is about watching authentic travel stories disappear, real experiences replaced by corporate content, and our dream of sharing genuine travel moments. It's been challenging to tell this story, but I think it's crucial to share, primarily because independent travelers need your support. The travel landscape has changed significantly over the past year, and I believe it will only get more challenging for platforms like ViaTravelers to provide authentic insights from real experiences. Today, I'm breaking my silence about what's happening to independent travel publishers like us. Not because I want to but because I have to. This isn't just our story. It's about the future of authentic travel content, our team, our writers and their incredible stories, and years of first-hand experiences.
